With four back-to-back hits this year – Kesari, Mission Mangal, Housefull 4 and Good Newwz, Akshay Kumar is looking to open 2020 on a high, with his next, Sooryavanshi. After Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh, Rohit Shetty has teamed up with none other than Akshay Kumar in ‘Sooryavanshi’. Rohit Shetty and Akshay Kumar had collaborated for the first time for the movie. Akshay will be seen playing ‘Veer Sooryavanshi’(ATS officer) in the movie. The film is jointly produced by Rohit Shetty Picturez, Cape Of Good Films and Dharma Productions. The film is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Rohit Shetty. Sooryavanshi has shot in various regions including Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Thailand.

In one report Akshay says he makes films fast, and in a very small budget. As he believes that film should be ‘high on content and low on a budget’. Further, he said he doesn’t think too much, he doesn’t carry the burden, and he is happy with the business of films he does,” and he is successfully struck a fine balance between commercial and content-driven cinema.
