Badshah can be termed as the most popular rapper-singer after Yo Yo Honey Singh took a break from music. He has taken the Indian Film Industry by storm with super hit songs with A-listers like Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan. As of now, he has millions of followers on social media accounts and is roaming around the globe to entertain the Indian movie audience.

His real name is Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia, and he completed his studies from Bal Bharti Public School, Pitampura Delhi, where he was first introduced to music. He went to PEC University of Technology, Chandigarh for completing higher studies in Civil Engineering. It was there he developed an interest in Punjabi and Rap music that has made him the man today. According to the rapper, he might have become an IAS officer if he had not chosen to rap as a career. What’s more interesting to know is that his father was completely against his decision of exploring the music scene but always supported him to achieve his dreams.

Badhshah started his career in 2006 after releasing a song with Yo Yo while he was working in his team named Mafia Mundeer. Standing at 5’10’ with an impressive physique he gained instant popularity and was immediately recognized as a prominent member of the group. It took him six years to come up with his first album named “Born Star” in 2012. After getting appreciated his unique rapping style and mass music he has never looked back and now has become a regular name in the film industry.

His hits like “DJ wale Babu”, “Abhi To Party Shuru Hui Hai” and a host of others can make anyone groove on the dance floor.

He is happily married to Jasmine who hails from the United Kingdom.

Although enjoying superstardom, he has never been public about his personal life and keeps things really low profile. Only some of his closest friends and near ones from Bollywood are entertained by him.

Recently, he was accused of having a brawl with his former mate Yo Yo and reports suggest that he even slapped him. It was the first and last time he became part of a controversy and has maintained a clean slate since then.

The hitmaker is highly praised among casual audiences and will likely maintain his status for few coming years if not more. Many hardcore hip-hop fans have criticized him of not delivering an authentic song true to his genre but the fact that he does not try hard to get labeled as a rapper keeps him safe.
