Anish John is a film sound designer, and mixer.He won the National Award for Best Sound Design Best Audiography for the film Labour of Love Asha Jaoar Majhe 2014. He recently bagged the Best Sound Design award at the 63rd Filmfare Awards and also at the 8th Jagran Film Festival 2017 , for the film Trapped 2017, this being his second win in the same category after winning at the 6th Jagran Film Festival 2015, Mumbai,India.He is the Sound Designer of the Netflix series ‘Sacred Games’. He was also the production sound mixer for Newton 2017. Newton had its world premiere in the Forum section of the 67th Berlin International Film Festival, and had its North American premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival where it was screened in the International Narrative Competition section. It has been selected as the Indian entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 90th Academy Awards. Anish has worked in English, Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Malayalam, and Marathi films, besides having worked on numerous documentaries and creative advertisement projects.
